Product Intern — Onboarding
Bengaluru, India | Internship |
About Eka.care
Eka.care is an AI-native health platform building the connective tissue for India's healthcare system — EMR tools for doctors, an ABHA-integrated patient app, hospital solutions, and developer APIs, all under one roof. We work with over 5,000 doctors and 30M+ registered users, and we're ABDM-compliant, plugged straight into India's national digital health infrastructure. We're a small team solving real, messy problems in how care actually gets delivered.
About the Role
As a Product Intern focused on Onboarding, you'll own one of the highest-leverage problems in the business: getting customers from "sale closed" to "actively using the product." You'll dig into where and why customers stall, talk to them directly, and work across Sales, Customer Success, Training, and Product to fix it — including building automations and lightweight tools yourself using AI.
What You'll Do
- Map the end-to-end journey from sales closure to onboarding and activation, identifying every friction point
- Analyze account-level and cohort data to pinpoint where and why customers stall or fail to activate
- Speak directly with customers post-payment to understand what's slowing them down or confusing them
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Training, and Product teams to understand the process from every angle
- Identify manual, repetitive steps in onboarding that can be automated
- Use AI tools to build automations or prototypes that reduce manual effort and speed up activation
- Propose and help build simple trackers/dashboards to monitor activation health on an ongoing basis
- Document findings and turn them into clear, actionable recommendations for the Product team
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets, SQL knowledge is a plus
- Working knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar), or the ability to pick them up quickly
- Strong communication skills — able to interview customers, and present findings clearly
- Comfortable with ambiguity — this role involves defining the problem as much as solving it
- Self-driven, with a bias toward action over analysis-paralysis
