Product Manager – EkaScribe
Bangalore | Full-time

About Eka.care

Eka.care is India's leading health technology platform, connecting patients, doctors, and healthcare systems through intelligent, interoperable infrastructure. Our products span clinical documentation, EMR, personal health records, and developer tools — powering millions of patient interactions across India and beyond. We build at the intersection of AI, clinical workflows, and health data standards, and we move fast with a strong bias toward evidence and outcomes.

About the Role
EkaScribe is Eka.care's ambient clinical documentation product. The next phase of its growth is about reaching doctors across India and other markets with a rounded solution that fits how they actually practice — not just a transcription tool.
We are looking for a doctor-turned-product-manager who can sit at the center of this: owning the clinical positioning and roadmap, shaping how EkaScribe plugs into partner EMRs and HMIS, and connecting documentation to real revenue for the practice. You bring the clinician's lens to every decision and back it with data. You are comfortable forming a hypothesis, pulling the data to test it, and letting the evidence shape the roadmap.

What You Will Do
  • Own the clinical positioning and roadmap for EkaScribe, defining what a rounded solution looks like for doctors across multiple geographies
  • Get close to doctors, understand their workflow and economics, and translate that into product direction that drives adoption and retention
  • Shape how EkaScribe integrates with partner EMRs and HMIS so documentation flows cleanly into the systems doctors already use
  • Help build the revenue management story — connecting scribe output to lab, imaging, medication orders, referrals, and the practice's bottom line
  • Build and test hypotheses about adoption, clinical value, and monetization; use real usage data to confirm or kill them
  • Define what clinically good looks like for notes and templates, and work with data scientists to raise accuracy and completeness against that bar
  • Partner with sales, deployment, and partner teams to take the rounded solution to market and learn fast from the field
What We Are Looking For
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree with 1–3 years of clinical practice experience, ideally in outpatient or retail practice settings
  • 3–5 years of product management experience, preferably in healthtech or AI products
  • Proven ability to frame hypotheses, define the evidence needed to test them, and act decisively on results
  • Comfort with clinical data handling, including the judgment to work with sensitive health data responsibly
  • Hands-on data skills — SQL or equivalent — to answer your own questions without waiting on an analyst
  • Strong product instinct: the ability to translate clinical reality into roadmap and positioning
  • Clear communication that lands equally well with doctors, partners, and internal engineering teams
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with EMR or HMIS systems and how clinical data moves between them
  • Exposure to clinical documentation standards and structured medical records (FHIR, SNOMED, HL7)
  • Prior work in health tech, digital health, or a clinical informatics role
What You Will Get
  • Ownership of the clinical direction for a flagship AI product across two markets
  • A seat where clinical insight, product, and data come together to shape real decisions
  • Close collaboration with strong data science, engineering, and product teams
  • The chance to put a rounded clinical documentation solution into the hands of doctors at scale
